All our Functional Running Coaches  are with Athletics Australia and/or certified and are registered Personal Trainers – and are all experienced runners themselves.

A  four session running coaching offer is available complimentary to anyone who signs up online for a race and this offer is only available at checkout. Members can enjoy up to four coached running sessions within a one month period from their first session in a Functional Running Coached Group Running session.

Runners are guided and mentored on form and technique, as well as strategies for training, racing, pacing, stretching and injury management. Functional Running sessions are structured and focused, but are still relaxed and social.

All levels of runner are welcome and we have runners using the walk/run strategy taking part in sessions next to seasoned runners.

Sessions plans vary week to week but cover short interval running, longer interval running, hills, fartlek style running, strengthening and stretching.

Functional Running Coaches are accredited with Athletics Australia and/or certified and registered Personal Trainers – and are all experienced runners themselves. We also all share the same philosophy that running is part of a lifestyle, not our single obsessions, and the should be building robust, human bodies capable not just of quality runs, but of moving well throughout the rest of your life.

The fine print: Valid for 2016 only. Not transferable for cash, cannot be traded and can only be used for Functional Running Coached Group Running sessions. Only available to new Functional Running clients.
